Registrations for the 2023-24 Season are open!
UWA Athletics Club is one of Western Australia’s oldest and most successful athletics clubs. We welcome members of all levels and abilities (Membership is open for athletes 11 years of age and over as at the 31 December 2023) and membership is open to both UWA Students and the general public.
UWAAC is an affiliate club with Athletics West, meaning our members can compete in the Athletics West Strive Track and Field Season at the Club Rate of $15 per meet for unlimited events. Registration for these meets generally closes at midnight on Wednesdays. Visit the Athletics West website for the Season Calendar.
UWAAC members also receive access to our training facilities at UWA Sports Park (McGillivray Oval), and are welcome to join us in club activities such as relays, social events and fundraisers.

Member Benefits
- Compete for UWA Athletics Club at weekly competitions at the WA Athletics Stadium (AW entry fee $15 per meet for unlimited events) (not applicable for Recreational members)
- Compete at the WA State Championships (Under 14 up to Open Age Groups) (not applicable for Recreational members)
- 20% discount on physiotherapy and massage services Ascend Physiotherapy (HBF Stadium, Mount Claremont)
- 10% discount at Peak Podiatry
- Access to train at McGillivray Oval with training equipment available during club booking times
- Ability to apply for UWAAC travel assistance funding
- For those athletes over 18 access to the interstate host family program
- Possible subsidised coaching, leadership, or first aid courses for UWA students

| Little Athletics Dual Membership |
Discounted membership rate for athletes who are registered with any Little Athletics club that are wanting to compete for the UWA Senior Club. Must be turning 12 years or over in the current calendar year. This is a great opportunity and pathway to transition into UWA Athletics Club. You must also be a member of any Little A Club to qualify for this membership.
A weekly fee of $15 to compete at Strive still applies.

For Athletes (aged 11 by the 31 december 2023), with:
- a current season membership with a (any) Little Athletics Centre
- who wish to compete at Strive; and
- prefer to pay one fee at the beginning of the season.
- This membership includes free entry to all Strive competitions.
- This price DOES NOT include entryState events.

Community Membership

For athletes 17 years and over who wish to compete locally at the club events. You can not compete at strive.

Suitable for athletes who do not wish to compete for UWA Athletics but wish to train at McGillivray during club booking times with a UWAAC Coach.

If you are under the age of 17, you may be interested in join the UWA Little Athletics Centre. Please visit their website for further information. You can have a dual-membership with UWA Little Athletics Centre and UWA Athletics Club, which will enable you to train and compete at UWA Little Athletics Centre competitions, whilst also competing at Athletics West Strive Competitions (generally Friday nights).
NB: Non-UWA athletes cannot train during UWAAC bookings if not with a UWAAC coach.
