We’re excited to launch the first session in our two-part Athlete Health & Wellbeing Information Series. The series has been designed with dedicated sessions for women and men, beginning with our Women’s Health & Wellbeing Information Night. For more information on the event click here
This evening is dedicated to supporting our female athletes, female coaches and female friends and family members with practical, evidence-based education to improve performance, recovery and long-term health.
While the evening is designed to focus on female athlete health and wellbeing, the presentation component of the evening will also be open to men who are interested in attending. Please note that the panel questions component will be a closed event for women.
Understanding the unique health, training and performance considerations for female athletes is important for everyone involved in sport. By opening the presentations to men, we hope to help coaches, male athletes and supporters gain a better understanding of women’s health in sport, and how we can better support female athletes across our club.
We would encourage any male coaches, Dads, partners, family members and athletes to attend the presentation section of the evening if they are interested.
