Come and Try Little Athletics

Curious about Little Athletics? 

Come and give it a go before registering for the season. 

Come and Try is open to new U7-U18 athletes interested in joining UWA Little Athletics and includes one eligible training session and one Saturday competition. McGillivray Oval, UWA Sports Park, Mount Claremont

1.  Fill in the Come and Try form

A parent or guardian must complete the Athletics West Come and Try form before the athlete participates. Form link:Come and try form

2.  Send it through or bring it along

Email the form to contact@uwalac.com.au before attending where possible. Advance notice is preferred but is not compulsory. Families may instead bring the completed form and hand it to a club representative before the athlete participates.

3. Pick your training session

Choose the session for your athlete's age group. Please arrive at the track 10 minutes before training starts and introduce yourself to a club representative or age-group coach.

Training commences the week of Tuesday 13^th & Thursday 15^TH of October

4. Join us for a Saturday competition

Choose one Saturday competition from the club calendar and experience a real Little Athletics meet. Competition programs and arrival requirements can vary, so check the calendar before you come. Competition calendar Here.

What to wear and bring

After Come and Try

Loved it and ready for more? Complete the full season registration and payment before attending another session. No uniform is needed for Come and Try, but a club uniform will be required for competition once registered. Registration link.
