UWA Athletics Club and WA Marathon Club are excited to launch the 2026 UWAAC x WAMC Winter Cup Series — a new winter running series bringing together cross-country, road racing and team relay events.

This is a great opportunity for athletes to stay connected, keep training through winter, and have fun racing with teammates in a supportive environment.

The series will include four events and entries are open to the public (not just UWA):

Race 1: Sunday 19 July – Shelley Loop - 10km Long Course
A road race option. Please note only the 10km is part of the winter cup series.

Race 2: Sunday 9 August – Perry Lakes Relay - road relay
A 4 × 3km team relay — perfect for athletes who enjoy racing as part of a team.

Race 3:Sunday 27 September– 5km short course Lake Gwelup Cross Country
A short-course cross-country race and a great way to continue the winter season.

Race 4: Sunday 18 October – Pancake Run, Kings Park
A 3 × 5km cross-country relay — and yes, there will be pancakes at the end!
