Registrations for the 2026-27 Season are not open.
UWA Athletics Club is one of Western Australia’s oldest and most successful athletics clubs. We welcome members of all levels and abilities and membership is open to both UWA Students and the general public.
UWAAC is an affiliate club with Athletics West, meaning our members can compete in the Athletics West Strive Track and Field Season at a set Club Rate per meet for unlimited events. Registration for these meets generally closes at midnight on Wednesdays. Visit the Athletics West
Under Athletics West competition rules, all UWAAC members must compete in the a UWA singlet or crop top and UWA shorts or briefs. You may wear plain black bottoms ONLY if we are out of stock in your required size or you are waiting for your uniforms.
Registering with the club is also an agreement to wear the FULL UWA branded uniform. Athletes are not premitted to wear other branded briefs or shorts, these are not the UWA uniform, this breaks Athletics west rules and you may be prohibted from competing.

Suitable for athletes born in 2008 and below (age groups under 20 and open), who are not currently studying at the University of WA (see student membership) or competing at a little A Club.
This membership allows athletes to compete at strive with an additional weekly fee of $15 to compete at Strive still applies.

| Junior Membership |
Suitable for athletes with a birth year 2009 to 2014. Age groups under 13 to under 18.
This membership allows athletes to compete at strive with an additional weekly fee of $15 to compete at Strive still applies.
This fee is higher than the senior membership due to athletics West increased Junior fee component. This is not a Little Athletics membership.

| Little Athletics Dual Membership |
Discounted membership rate for athletes who are registered with any Little Athletics club that are wanting to compete for the UWA Senior Club.You must register for any Little A Club to qualify for this membership.
Must be turning 11 years or over in the current calendar year.
This is a great opportunity and pathway to transition into UWA Athletics Club.

Winter membership
|
Suitable for athletes 11 years of age and over as at the 31 December of the current year. This is for the winter program only, $10 entry fee to competitions apply.
This membership does allow for eligibility for team WA winter selections.
This does not provide athletes training access to Mcgilivray, please contact the club regarding use of the track during club booking times at info@uwaac.com.au

Suitable for competing athletes who do not wish to compete for UWA Athletics but wish to train at McGillivray during club booking times with a UWAAC Coach but compete for a different club.
Athletes purchasing this must be turning 12 in the December to qualify for this.

| Community Membership |
Suitable for recreational athletes those that train with a UWA coach only (see coach list) and that are not looking to compete.
You are not eligible to compete at strive. This membership is for Under 20 and above individuals only, during club booking times only.
